The Central Maine Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, Hosted a JAKES Field Day 8/11/07 at the Skowhegan Sportsman's Club, Skowhegan Maine. This event included Archery, Shooting events, US Army climbing wall, Trap and Transfer demonstration by Maine Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, Shoot - Don't Shoot Safety Walk, Lunch was provided for all who attended. The event was well attended and everyone had a great time. Several businesses donated items for the event including, L.L. Bean's, Old Town Canoe, Dick's Sporting Goods, Cabela's, Hannaford Supermarkets, Shaw's Supermarkets, Huhtamaki (chinet plates) Wal-Mart. and, Kittery Trading Post. Over 50 JAKES memberships were given out in addition, all the women that attended were given a WITO membership.
